Peenya Industrial Area

Peenya Industrial Area is a large industrial hub on Tumkur Road in Northwest Bangalore. It is one of the largest and oldest work hubs in Southeast Asia. It was set up in the 1970s on a vast area of about 40 square kilometres. It houses over 13,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises. There are also a few larger companies here.

It will be carried out by reinvesting 70% of the taxes collected as property tax. These moves will streamline the area further and add to its progress.

The hub lies along the Tumkur Road in the northwestern zone of the city. It is well-connected to highways like NH-75. It is also served by the metro, and there is a metro station in the area. The nearby Yeshwanthpur railway station is just about 3 kilometres away.
